Engage in a 7-day or 14-day master plant dieta in Peru at Mokapari Nete, a small Shipibo family-run center near Pucallpa, available throughout the year with simple living, individualized care, under the guidance of two maestros curanderos with over 70 years of combined experience.
Yes, if you choose to. Ayahuasca is received on ceremony nights to deepen your connection with the master plant. The maestro uses Ayahuasca to open perception, clean and align your energy, and to sing ícaros that carry the teaching of your specific plant. You can also choose to join the ceremony without drinking Ayahuasca; your plant will still work with you, and the Maestro will still work with what you need during the ceremony. There are five ceremonies for a 2-week dieta, and two for a 1-week dieta. The focus remains the relationship with your plant, not chasing peak experiences.
During a Master Plant Dieta, you also receive Ayahuasca, but that is for you to connect more with your Master Plant.
From Maestro Pervis (Spanish → English):
“Lo más importante es dietar y recibir el poder de las plantas; después, la ayahuasca trabaja en nuestro espíritu y en nuestro cuerpo.”
The most important thing is to diet and receive the power of the plants; afterward, ayahuasca works in our spirit and in our body.
To learn more about this vast topic, you can watch this interview with Maestro Pervis:
In the Shipibo tradition, a Dieta can help you with almost anything: from healing physical/emotional pain, to energy/spiritual healing, finding love, strength, and much more.
Every Dieta is unique; it depends on you and the plants you’re dieting with, and most of all on what you truly ask of your Master Plant.
What you receive also reflects what you give: the more dedication and the more closely you follow the guidance, the deeper the change.
Teachings from your master plant are often subtle at first and profound over time.
Everything mentioned on this page isn’t medical treatment. It’s traditional spiritual work, guided by the Maestro and your relationship with your master plant.
Mokapari Nete is a small Shipibo family-run center near Pucallpa, held by Maestro Pervis Urquia and his family.
I arrived at Mokapari Nete through a series of synchronicities, from dreams to “random” events and meetings, that eventually led me to the center when I was seeking healing for myself. At that time, I was carrying deep trauma that was affecting every area of my life, and what I found there was real help, done with humility and a pure heart.
My relationship with Maestro Pervis grew from that point. Over time, I came to feel that I had found my Shipibo maestro, and that relationship opened into a gradual Shipibo apprenticeship and a deeper commitment to the plants and the path they carry.
This partnership also became clear from both sides. As I felt called to help share a deeper understanding of the dieta with the world, Maestro Pervis was also asking how to help the center serve the right people. What became clear was that Mokapari Nete needed a bridge, and that this was the role the plants asked me to take. I gladly accepted.
My role is to help protect the meaning of the dieta, help you approach it in the best way, and help the right people find their way to a center and a maestro who has helped transform my life. I know in real life and trust deeply.
Shipibo healer with 20+ years of service. Taught by his uncles (maestro healers Esteban and Cecilio), later invited by Maestra Inés López to work for a decade at Noya Rao Xobo. With the support of friends and patients, he founded Mokapari Nete near Pucallpa, where he receives individuals who wish to engage in a real Master Plant Dieta that follows the Shipibo tradition in all of its aspects.
Shipibo healer with 50+ years of experience. To acquire his healing powers, he engaged in a 5.5-year-long dieta, dieting all plants simultaneously. This is unheard of, as the amount of strength and will to do this is incomprehensible. This, in turn, enabled him to become an extremely powerful healer with a kind heart.
Maestro Pervis’ family takes care of every aspect of your journey with great care and love.
A veteran in the world of plants, she’s been living at the center for four years. Claire bridges the Western mindset with the Shipibo tradition with gentleness and care.
The process is held through your master plant itself, the guidance of the maestros, ceremonies, baths, food, rest, and the discipline of the dieta.
While there are some main components of the dieta, every detail is customized based on exactly what you need.
The center takes care of everything on-site: transport to/from the airport, all meals, a private room, and all the medicinal plants, so you can focus on your master plant.
Also included onsite: direct interaction with the maestros and a senior facilitator for guidance and translation, daily support from the family.
The onsite dieta is paid directly to Mokapari Nete. If you’re interested in receiving 1-on-1 spiritual preparation and spiritual integration, they’re provided by MasterPlantDieta.org with a pay-what-you-can offering.
(7-Day Option Available: $700)
